Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Hagen Adventures representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a comfortable drive through the beautiful surroundings of northern Tanzania while receiving a brief introduction to your upcoming safari.

After checking in, the rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey. Take the opportunity to enjoy the hotel facilities and prepare for the exciting safari adventure that awaits you with Hagen Adventures.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Overnight at Siafu Serenity Lodge

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up in Arusha by your professional Hagen Adventures safari guide. Drive through the beautiful countryside of northern Tanzania toward Tarangire National Park, enjoying views of local villages, farmland and changing landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, begin your game drive through Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs and a variety of bird species, with opportunities to spot lions and other predators. After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive before leaving the park and heading to Siafu Serenity Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – Overnight at Siafu Serenity Lodge

After breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area and continue toward the crater rim. Enjoy breathtaking views before descending into the crater for a memorable game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari while surrounded by the crater’s spectacular scenery, then continue exploring the crater floor before ascending in the afternoon. After the safari, return to Siafu Serenity Lodge for dinner, relaxation and your second overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park Safari – Airport Transfer

After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse park known for its scenic landscapes, lush forests, large flocks of flamingos and varied wildlife. During your game drive, look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, monkeys and numerous bird species. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your exploration of the park. Later, leave Lake Manyara and begin your transfer toward the airport according to your flight schedule. Your Hagen Adventures guide will ensure a comfortable journey and assist you at the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day Tanzania safari.
