Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s famous Northern Safari Circuit and the perfect place to relax after your international journey.

Day 2: Materuni Village Cultural Tour & Traditional Coffee Experience

After breakfast, drive to the picturesque village of Materuni, located on the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Surrounded by coffee plantations, waterfalls, and tropical forests, this charming Chagga village offers an authentic glimpse into local life.

Begin with a guided walk through the village and surrounding countryside before visiting the beautiful Materuni Waterfall, where water cascades over 80 meters into a natural pool below.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Tarangire National Park

Day 4: Drive to Lake Natron – Maasai Cultural Experience

Day 5: Lake Natron Exploration & Cultural Activities

Depending on water levels and the season, thousands of lesser flamingos gather along the lake’s shores, making it one of the world’s most important breeding grounds for these elegant birds.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti National Park (Game Drive En Route)

Day 7: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti, one of the greatest wildlife destinations on Earth.

Your experienced guide will tailor the day’s game drives based on recent wildlife sightings, giving you the best opportunity to encounter the Big Five and witness predator-prey interactions. Depending on the season, you may also experience part of the Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of animals move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon safari.

Return to camp for dinner and another unforgettable night in the Serengeti.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Day 9: Lake Eyasi Cultural Tour

After breakfast, travel to the shores of Lake Eyasi for an unforgettable cultural experience with two of Tanzania’s indigenous communities.

Meet the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, and learn about their traditional hunting methods, survival skills, language, and way of life that has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years. If conditions allow, you may even accompany them on a short morning hunting excursion.

You’ll also visit the Datoga community, renowned for their exceptional blacksmithing skills and traditional craftsmanship. Observe how they create tools and jewelry using age-old techniques passed down through generations.

Day 10: Half-Day Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, nestled beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Though compact in size, the park offers remarkable diversity, ranging from lush groundwater forests and open grasslands to the shimmering alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and other waterbirds.

During your half-day game drive, search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, blue monkeys, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. With over 400 bird species recorded, Lake Manyara is also one of Tanzania’s premier birdwatching destinations.
